Do you love chocolate as much as I do? Did you know that conventional chocolate isn’t as healthy as it could be? The issue with chocolate products from conventional brands is their highly processed nature. For example, most store-bought chocolate is made with large quantities of processed sugar and preservatives. One typical bar contains cane sugar, milk, chocolate, cocoa butter, lecithin, palm oil (what?) and added natural flavor (again, what?).

I wondered what if you could have all-natural, locally-sourced ingredients that increase prana (life force energy) and support the balance in mind, body, and spirit, all in a chocolate bar?

While working to find healthier chocolate, I discovered how balancing the five intrinsic elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space) of our body could bring us back home—to a stable state of happiness, calm, and peace. I began making small-batch bars blended with luxurious chocolate and Ayurvedic superfoods, resulting in two dimensions of inner and outer comfort. And hence, Elements Truffles was born.

Elements Truffles products are all made with ethically sourced, three staple ingredients: organic raw cacao butter, raw honey, and organic raw cacao powder, along with specially-crafted additions of pure essential oils and Ayurveda superfoods.

Try my Ayurvedic Chocolate Tart recipe made with Elements Truffles Ashwagandha drinking chocolate mix and Elements Truffles Black Lava Salt bar and Orange Quinoa bar for a relaxing, healthy holiday dessert.

Directions

1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees F.

5. Let the tart shell cool for 30 mins.

6. Melt the chopped chocolate in a double boiler

7. Add the rest of the filling ingredients to the melted chocolate and whisk it all together.

8. Pour it into the crust and let it set in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours.
